Giovanni Gastel

A fashion photographer he dealt with models and product placement photos. He started taking photos in the 1970s but didn’t start fashion until 1981. His photos are majority horizontal . He used digital wide lens cameras. He is Italian. He focuses on composition of photos mixing complementing background and subject blended together. 







Herbert pointing 

He lived from 1870-1935. He used film cameras and glass negatives. He even went to the artic so his black and white contrast of photos of actual black and white  objects.  HE photographed in asia and Artic and America. He was a member of the royal photography society. Started with mining but photography was always a hobby until 1890s. By 1901 he was in Asia shooting. He shot both horizontal whichever fit  the scene be 
tter be it the great wall or the artic ice caps.




 









Bruce Conner 
Born in 1933 and died in 2008. He started in paintings. He used film cameras. He also did a lot of work with shadows and cut outs. Where he takes a photo of someone and inserts the image so that there is an image behind and the cut out or just light placed. HE also did movie work as a director. Mostly horizontal photos.

I want to photography the benefits and beauty of things especially the landscapes in the morning. I intend to photograph it because I really enjoy the morning in a day, because of the fresh air, healthy lifestyle, most beautiful views in a day. Leamy: Final Project Proposal Revisited

Final Proposal              For my final project, I intend on following a similar vein from my style project and photographing homes that have a sense of personality and uniqueness to them, specifically in State College, Philadelphia, Downingtown, and West Chester. I want to photograph this subject because I personally find homes very appealing and I think they have extreme potential to tell a story to a viewer that perhaps would have been unexplored otherwise. Furthermore, I want to address the discrepancies present among different towns and their houses (State College versus living spaces in Philadelphia versus another suburban areas of Downingtown and West Chester). I think that the photos could work well in conversation with one another in sharing more about a town and perhaps the people that may live in that area.              I intend on visiting...

Garrett Curfman revised proposal

Garrett Curfman Final project proposal Photo 202 For my final project I have decided to take photos of city atmospheres. This includes the backsides of building, and items that reflect a “backstage” view of the atmosphere. I chose to do this because I love cities. New York City is my favorite place. Myself alone in the maze of concrete buildings and seeing all the unique aspects of the city get me inspired to create. There is so much personality and stories to be told by the streets and buildings that I pass every day in downtown State college.  I have photographed buildings, streets, alleys, and different items found in the city environment that further reflect where the photos are taken.
